Perhaps you overheard a rumor about us. Or maybe someone found you and convinced you to join. How you found us is unimportant. The only thing that's important is that you did. But as you approached the door, you found it to be locked. All you saw was a round hole and a mail slot. Left with nothing to do, you slipped a piece of paper through the door with your contact information...
Before you apply, I would recommend reading all of the literature found in the navigation on these journal entries. I place a special importance on "Introduction", "The Story", "Ranks", "The Base" and "Rules". Which is basically all of them with something to read. That is how important they are.
When you apply, I need only a few things from you. A name, where your character is from, the first rank you want for your character and a back story for the character. The back story should be at least a few paragraphs long and should at a minimum include how your character was introduced to or discovered the club. If you wish your character to have been brought here, you must ask for permission from the person whose character found you. The Wizard Crayton does not recruit. The name must be original and the world your character is from must be on this list. The first rank you choose must be one of the following four: Magician (Wizard class), Brute (Fighter class), Thief (Assassin class) or Listener (Scholar class). See The Ranks for more information.
Characters must be human of a reasonable age (20-50 loosely).
All members are permitted to have up to two characters, and only two. If one of your characters dies or leaves the club, you are not permitted to replace them. Design your characters wisely the first time.
When you're ready to apply, send a note to WilliamSchatz with the subject "Nu-Hybrid Application" (It is important that Nu-Hybrid is in the subject line so that I know what the note is for.) with the information listed in the following format:
Name:
Home World:
Initial Rank:
Back Story:
In addition to this, you must have a link to a drawn character sheet including a full body shot and a close up of your character's head. The sheet need not be perfect, but it must show some effort. Commissioned character sheets are perfectly acceptable. You may include anything else you wish, but it need only meet those two requirements. The character's name, home world and back story should be included in the artist's comments. Rank is optional, though since it will presumably be changing, it may be easier to let me keep track of it.
Some guidelines to keep in mind:
If your character has any distinguishing marks, it would be a good idea if they had some way to hide them.
Your character should have more than one outfit. In fact, he or she should have enough clothes that they can blend into a crowd wherever they go.
Conform to society, not the organization. This is our motto.
Make sure your character doesn't have any abilities that make him or her overpowered. Characters become more powerful as they advance through the ranks.
I try to answer all applications within a week of receiving them. After you are accepted to the club, I will invite you to join and you will officially be a member. From there, you are free to participate in the club as you wish, beginning, preferably, with submitting your character sheet to our gallery.

Redecorating
Hey, everyone. Over the next few weeks, Hybrid will be undergoing some changes that I have been wanting to make a for a while and have now found the time to do. Things on my to-do list:
The class structure is going to be expanded
Prestige classes are going to be added
Missions will (hopefully) be added
The point system will change slightly to accommodate the class changes
As well as a few other things as I get to them. All of this is in preparation for the summer events in the Nuverse, but we'll talk about those later.
If anyone is interested in designing heartless, I encourage you to check out #heartless-nu (https://www.deviantart.com/heartless-nu). We will be needing som
Tournament Results, Final Round
Hey everybody. First of all, I would like to thank everyone for a fantastic tournament. All around, I was quite pleased with both the participation and the quality of entries, especially when you guys were dealing with such short time frames.
Second, I would like to thank everyone for your understanding of how busy we are. In addition to the tournament, both hyperionwitch (https://www.deviantart.com/hyperionwitch) and I have been keeping up with school work which demands a huge chunk of our lives. Because of this, we have not been able to complete applications at either Organization Nu or Keyblade Brigade. Hopefully we will find the chance to finish them this week.
Finally, the
